I didn't get a chance to blog about these gorgeous, adorable (gorgable? adorgeous?), tables before they sold. I absolutely love how they turned out - just like vintage grain sacks and aged enamel washbasins rolled into one!
The pictures below are what the tables looked like before I finished them - a little distressing and some ubber-durable floor finish to seal everything in.
And as I said, they're 'nesting' tables...so I'll leave you with a shot of everything pulled together!
Well done you, these look amazing! Love Linda x
ReplyDeleteThanks, Linda! I absolutely loved how they turned out and they sold in an instant (which is always nice).
Hi Emily,
ReplyDeleteI found your absolutely gorgeous nesting tables via Pinterest! Love your style. I am going to paint grain sack stripes and add a transfer to a vintage phone bench that I painted today. Thanks for the inspiration. Following you now.

Do you have the 'before' photos?
ReplyDeleteDivno !!!
ReplyDeleteWhat floor finish did you apply?
ReplyDeleteBack panels should not be stapled - these frequently loosen, and the furniture could be weakened. In fact, if the correct jointing techniques have been employed in home furniture construction, the back panels should not be needed for strength - the frame should be strong enough itself. nesting tables
